AltCamping – Women's Chapter!

 

AltCamping has gone coed with the formation of a Women's Chapter of the club, which will share all the same dinners, social events, and regular camping trips as the men, but will have a separate fall/winter trip calendar.

 

The AltCamping Women's Chapter will have their own email list for Women's Only events and trips, as will the Men's Chapter, but will share in the events and trips for AltCamping members at large.  Cabin campouts in the cooler months will be separate, as will any Women's Only or Men's Only parties or events.  The rest of the year we will share the same monthly dinners, IMAX movies, picnics, concerts, and other non-camping related events as well as the regular camping trips where members have their own campsites and meals.

 

Dues for the AltCamping – Women's Chapter is the same.  The application forms are the same as well.

 

Newsletters will contain information for both the men's and women's chapters as appropriate.

 

The formation of a Women's Chapter was a direct result of expressed interest. Currently, there is no leader for the womans chapter, but we are open to volunteers.
